The lexis café & weinbar is located at the entrance point to the Paragon apartments, a new residential quarter at the intersection of Prenzlauer Allee and Danziger Strasse in Berlin. It serves as a café during the day and as a winebar in the evening.
The lexis café & weinbar is built into a long narrow space. A stretched bar counter is the main feature that is also providing all the necessary equipment for preparing food and drinks. Barstools and high tables along the floor-to-ceiling windows allow a generous view onto the busy corner and a little public square. Two big tables with benches and chairs invite guests to stay and enjoy the displayed art.
The primarily use of the materials concrete and wood underlines the simple but elegant style of the café and bar.
