In Berlin, on the site of “Urbane Mitte” between eastern and western part of Gleisdreieck Park, a mobile brewery and beer garden designed by GRAFT has been erected in summer 2016. The building volume of BRLO BRWHOUSE combines gastronomy, events, administration and the art of brewery and is remarkable for its container architecture in modular design.
GRAFT was commissioned to redesign a former presidential villa in Vienna for a private art collector. The design focuses on adapting the villa to incorporate the art collection using new motifs and materials.
The Mokabberi dental clinic, specializing in the treatment of children, redefines this experience in their branch office in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district, offering young visitors an imaginative space with the qualities of an indoor playground.
The Hotel and Spa Seezeitlodge Bostalsee occupies an advantageous position in its natural surroundings, overlooking a serene lake from a wooded promontory. GRAFT’s design aims to build on and enrich the character of the location. The building figure is a product of the surrounding topography. The hotel connects the realm of the wood with the expanse of the lake, mediating between the land and the water.
Amber Bay lies on Binhai Road, Dalian’s famous scenic coastal road on the Chinese city’s southeast side. Just a fifteen-minute drive from the city center, this picturesque stretch of coastline with its alluring beaches and towering rock formations offers an ideal place for dining and leisure away from noisy downtown Dalian. Within this unique setting, the Amber Bay Beachfront Development provides approximately 10,000m² of restaurants and shopping facilities.
This studio remodel for a Hollywood movie actor incorporates the clients’ interest in multicultural architectonic references and his hybrid lifestyle. The studio needs to accommodate living and working in one space and provide a means to shift flexibly between professional and private life.
In Schierke, a district of Wernigerode at the foot of the Harz Mountains, GRAFT was commissioned to renovate a listed natural ice rink. GRAFT proposed a dramatic roof structure anchored at just two points, which provides protection from rain, snow and sunlight but also frames the view of the mountains and sky beyond—its characteristic poise and elegance is indeed a response to the surrounding landscape.
PLATOON KUNSTHALLE Seoul is built of 28 iso cargo containers. As icons of a flexible architecture in a globalized culture, the stacked containers form a unique construction that can be rebuilt anywhere else any time.
A social hub, consisting of the communal kitchen and dining area, forms the ‘marketplace’ of the establishment. Two shipping containers house conference rooms and create an entrance portal to the dining area. They embrace the concept of temporary occupation and toy with the idea of worldwide trade and wanderlust.

The Showpalast seats 1,700 spectators in front of a 40-metre-long stage specially designed for the unique horse show. The layout ensures that all visitors have a clear and close-up view of the stage due to the limited number of rows.
