On the occasion of the conference ‘Shift Automotive’ at IFA 2019, GRAFT founding partner Wolfram Putz will give a lecture entitled “Changing parameters: the future of mobility“. The overarching topic of this year’s conference is “The Digital Revolution in Mobility – Future Needs, Innovations and Visions”.

Sharing models for cars or jobs are part of a new urbanity that requires innovations in mobility and blurs old boundaries. The city and its periphery are converging, and distances within the city will become increasingly shorter in the future. The physical and mental mobility of society is growing, and with it the field of activity of architects.

In our studios, we are currently not only concerned with building design, but also with mobility concepts for the near and distant future. For some years now, GRAFT has been working with leading providers in the field of electromobility and developing concepts at the interface between architecture and mobility.
