Recently, the new book GRAFT monography “IDENTITY” was published. Anyone expecting a guide to the success of so called ‘Signature Building’s will be disappointed, since the office does not use a clearly recognizable architectural language. Quite the opposite—any attempt to classify them in the famous drawers would fail. The architects call this principle “grafting” through “traditional, virtual and analog realities” in order to develop innovative and socially relevant solutions through unexpected, surprising misunderstandings. “Between glamor and world salvation” was the headline of a large daily newspaper about the work in the office.
