On Tuesday night the annual MIPIM Awards Ceremonies took place in Paris, France, rewarding the most innovative and groundbreaking projects in real estate. We are very proud to announce that our project WAVE waterside living berlin was awarded the best residential building in the world. The futuristic project alongside Berlin’s riverside won the MIPIM Award 2020 in the category ‘Best Residential Development’ against 228 competitors from 45 countries!

In 2015 our project Eckwerk was awarded with the Architectural Review Mipim Futura Projects Award. We are very proud to hereby continue our success on the banks of Berlin’s river Spree at the Mipim Awards, the ‘Oscars of the Real Estate Industry’!

The prominently staffed jury led by Méka Brunel, CEO of Gecina, shortlisted the best projects in each of the eleven competition categories. The winner was determined on the basis of the jury evaluation and the public voting, which took place online this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. WAVE is the only project from Germany that could convince the jury.
