International Baukulturtage Symposium at the German Pavilion

GRAFT founding partner Lars Krückeberg will lead a delegation of 60 participants of the International Baukulturtage Symposium through the German pavilion on the 28th of June. He will explain the exhibition concept of UNBUILDING WALLS, the German contribution to the 16th Architecture Biennale in Venice.

the International Baukulturtage Symposium will take place in Venice from 26th of June to 28th of June 2018. During the three-day program the Federal Foundation for Building Culture invites to various lectures and symposia on the cultural development of the building landscape.

The exhibition UNBUILDING WALLS reacts to current debates about nations, protectionism and demarcation. This year Germany is reunited for 28 years – as long as the inner German Wall existed. With reference to this parallel, the effects of division and the process of healing are examined as a dynamic spatial phenomenon.

When: June 26th-28th 2018, UNBUILDING WALLS on June 28th 2018, 12.30 pm
Where: German Pavilion, Giardini Biennale di Venezia
